Win CE 5.0 or Win Mobile 5.0
A customer wants to buy this device:
http://www.mobile.datalogic.com/_vti_g20_p_det.aspx?idp=94d504a6-107c-4581-a855-20522e456e9e&rpstry=169_
It is available with CE 5.0 or Mobile 5.0.
Which one to take, Software will be CF 2.0.
What's the difference btw, i always thought CE/Mobile is the same...

Re: Win CE 5.0 or Win Mobile 5.0
Windows Mobile devices run Windows CE, but Windows CE is very flexible in
terms of what can be included or not. It's not like Windows XP where
there's a fixed configuration (or two, Home and Professional). The vendor
can put in or take out almost any component. Windows Mobile devices are
much-more controlled in terms of what the vendor can include.
There's no right answer to which one you want. Talk to the OEM and let them
hear what you want to use the device for and recommend which is the better
choice for you.
