searching for unzip utility (CE 4.2)
I'm searching a command line (no GUI needed) unzip tool running on a CE 4.2
device.
Should be native code.

Can someone help me out?

regards

OpenNETCF has a compression library for Windows CE:

Re: searching for unzip utility (CE 4.2)
Jeff,

I know - OpenNETCF is always one of the starting pages for any search on
mobile devices.

But the wrapper doesn't help me - in this particular case i need a native
code exe and unfortunately my C/C++ is not as good as it should be.
Under \Source\DLL\examples\ the "gun.c" would exactly fit my needs.

Re: searching for unzip utility (CE 4.2)
So you're after not a library, but an EXE that will zip/unzip?

Re: searching for unzip utility (CE 4.2)
yes, an EXE.

Must be native code because it should run after a cold boot when CF
installation has not started/finished

Re: searching for unzip utility (CE 4.2)
You might look at RAR for PPC:

http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

Not sure if it runs on generic CE, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Re: searching for unzip utility (CE 4.2)
Chris,

thanks for your hint,

but RAR for PCC has no command line support (and the GUI-Version freezes
the CE device)

I'm 'googeling' for hours now and did not expect that it is such difficult
to find a simple command line uncompressing tool for CE devices (format does
not matter - could be ZIP, RAR, LZH, etc.)
