Bandwidth monitor by port
I am looking for an answer to this and haven't had any luck so far.

I need to write a tool that will monitor how much data is going through a
network port. Can this be done in .net preferable or otherwise? Can someone
pointme in the right direction.

I realize that there are many network monitor tools available. But I need to
write my own simple one.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
